Our Beliefs

​The essentials of our beliefs include the authority, sufficiency, and inerrancy of Scripture; the Trinity; the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ; the total depravity and spiritual lostness of humanity; the substitutionary atonement and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ; salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone; assurance of salvation and the security of the believer; and the imminent, physical return of Christ.

Our Staff

Head Pastor & Youth Pastor

Jonathan Purdy has served as our Youth Pastor since 2006 and has assumed the role of Head Pastor in 2022. Jonathan leads the church in pursuing our mission and vision through all endeavors. Jonathan is a 2002 graduate of Cedarville University, husband to Amber, and is the father to three young men.

Discipleship Pastor

PT Thompson serves as Discipleship Pastor at MBC after serving faithfully for several years as head pastor at another local church. He leads our young adults group as well as teaching Sunday school discipleship courses. He is a loving husband to Melissa and father to 3 young girls. 

Children's Director

Faith Ferguson has served as the leader of our children's outreach program-- KidzJam-- for several years. She is in charge of our children's Sunday schools, children's church, and outreach events. Faith is a 2021 graduate of Cedarville University. She is using her degree in Early Childhood Education serving in a full time position as a teacher.

Worship Leader

Amber Purdy has served on the worship team at MBC over the past 15 years. She currently serves as the worship leader and oversees our tech team. Amber is a 2002 graduate of Cedarville University, wife to Jonathan, and a mother to three young men.

Pastor Scott faithfully served as our pastor until he went to be with the Lord in April, 2022.
